Research and Intellectual Property Council (RIP)

The RIP Council provides advice and recommendations to the President regarding policies and procedures that affect research, intellectual property, patents, licensing and commercialization opportunities. The Council advises faculty and staff on intellectual property policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The council is appointed and chaired by the vice president for research affairs.
