The executive council, consisting of the university president, the provost and vice president for academic affairs, the vice president for business and administration, the vice president for student affairs/dean of students, the vice president for university relations, the vice president of research affairs, the president of the School of Mines Foundation, the director of the School of Mines alumni association, and the executive assistant to the president shall meet at the call of the president and provide direction for the administration of the university.
