The committee investigates alleged breaches of ethical conduct on the part of faculty, staff, or students. An individual or group from any of these categories may request an investigation. The committee reports its findings to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs who advises the President concerning such findings. The committee also serves as an appeal board for disciplinary actions resulting from cases of academic dishonesty by students.
The committee consists of four faculty members appointed by the provost, the associate provost for enrollment management, and three students nominated by the Student Association president. The vice president for student affairs and dean of students is an ex-officio member. The President will appoint the chair from the members of the committee.
